If so...with which partner would you say you were more in love with? and why? Would you say that you are always more in love with your new partner?

Yes, I was with my ex for 8 years and I swore that I would never find anyone to MESSURE up to him. No matter who I tried dateing at some point or another I would realize that the connection that my currant guy and I had was'nt as strong as the one I felt with my ex or they just did'nt put that spark in me and I was trying to come to terms with the fact that I had lost my chance to be truely in love with someone.
Well.... to my greatful suprise, 3 years later I realize now that I was wrong and am now ingaged to the best man out there for me and everything that I THOUGHT I lost, Not only have the feelings of compleete conection with someone else physicaly, mentaly, emotionaly as well as soulfully returned but is soooo much more.
Because I still CARE about my first one, I dont think any1 stops loveing someone because theres just know way of being able to turn love off If you've ever really been in love, but.... when you can accept that the relationship is an unhealthy and non progressive one, and you open you're heart to knew possibilaties, and recieve the blessing of another, Of course you love that one more but it may be in a different way for diferent reasons, as your life changes so does your needs and want's, But there is always a part of your heart that will hold on to memories. I did a lot of growing up with my first and I still do love him, but only becuase he was a big part of my life for 8 years, now i feel more of a family type love for him instead of a passionate love

I was in love with my last partner but it was a destructive relationship and I didn't like the person i became ( weak). I am not in love with my current partner but it is a very good relationship and its nice to live stress free, even if the excitment is not there. Have only ever been truly in love once, hope to god thats not the only time.

I was definitely in love with my last partner would of done anything to make him happy had amazing feelings for him but unfortunately he said he loved me but didn't give me the same respect! New man is still in it's early days and after being hurt last time bit more reluctant to fall again but hoping in time i will be able to let myself go

yes but it has always been unique with each individual.
each person brought something significant to my life or taught me that no matter how many times you think you are prepared for the relationship there is no guarantees ever.
and maybe sometimes it's not so bad because what you take away from the experience good or bad helps you a little bit.

I was in love twice in my life, the first time lasted almost 7 years out of a 9 year relationship. It just died and we didn't wanna burry it until 2 years later. she treated me well and did everything for me. I appreciate the time she spent with me. my next love was more intense, I tried to love her so much, I did love her so much, but she just didn't give me that same feeling back, and then broke it off with me to sleep with old dudes with old balls. It was so hard to love someone that didn't love you back. but i did it and i learned from it :)

i thought i was in love i was with a lad for 3 years and we broke up about a year ago and i have a new guy now and i love him to bits. you will know when you do fall in love trustme xx
