they are the same thing.
just two different names for the same thing.

they are pretty much the same thing. The one difference is that well a blow dryer you can hold it up high and you can move it around places and a hair dryer you have to sit under and it covers your entire head.

A blow dryer is put in public rest rooms to dry your hands without paper towels.
A hair dryer is used anywhere to dry your hair.

they do the same thing, however, a blow dryer you hold in your hand, and a hair dryer is something you sit under.
