As I watch a Nascar race
My wife gets right into my face
She say's you really like this stuff
As for me, I have had enough
All these cars go round and round
The finish line seems never found
She says if she was at the track
She leave me there, and not come back
She says she'd rather watch a show
Thats her favorite, I should know
She says she wants to watch it now
I say no way, no where no how
As we struggle for the remote
I grab it tight and start to gloat
The she puts me in some sort of hold
I drop the thing, my hand gets cold
She stands straight up and says to me
I just won, my show it be
But I'll just let her think she won
Because the race is a re-run

My wife says if I don't stop watching racing,she'll leave me.I'm gonna miss her.

10 1/2 !! Great Poem !! Even though I really can't relate. I'm a huge Nascar fan and so is my husband. We actually schedule our weekends around the races !!

Your poem was funny, I give it a 8. I do not have this problem as my wife likes nascar, not as much as me but she will watch it with me and comment on it.

Your poem is really cute. I'm sorry your wife doesn't like NASCAR. I suggest buying her a T.V. of her own and then she can watch her show, while you watch the race with the rest of us!

And very true. My step dad and I love nascar
but, my mom and sister always complain.
My sister says Kasey Kahne looks like a rat
and that Jeff Gordon is gay.
We dont get along, at all.

Get another TV and run cable to her room of the trailer.If that don,t work then you go to another room.

i absolutely love NASCAR. I was not much of a fan until i got married, but now i love it. SMOKE IS THE MAN!!
