Egg yolk, molasses, brewer's yeast, calf's liver, cheese and wholemeal products are good sources of chromium.
Chromium enhances the activity of insulin -the hormone controlling blood sugar levels- and usually only insulin dependent diabetics need to supplement their intake, and not always.
