It depends if you want British or American English.

Newsmax is usually spelt right and in perfect grammar (if you don't mind the politics) for American English. newsmax.com

BBC has a few grammatical mistakes in its news section, but it does pretty well. They also have an online course for foreigners learning the language. British English. bbc.co.uk

Project Gutenberg is a great source of old texts to read. From all over. Gutenberg.org

The Canadian Broadcasting Channel has great radio plays and other things to hear spoken English. Canadian English of course. cbc.ca

A great site, but not the place to learn perfect english.
Hope you find some suitable sites.

www.onestopenglish.co.uk is pretty good, and so is www.eflcafe.com, but best to check www.lastminute.com and get over here! Trust me, spend two or three months in an English speaking country, and your language skills will improve so fast, you won't believe it!
