If a shy guy likes a girl would he be more comfortable having the girl sit across from him at a dinner table or next to him.Would sitting next to him make him uncomfortable or would he appreciate that intmacy?

Definitely in front. It is easier to talk to someone when you can actually see their face and as the other answer said. Also it is more romantic to sit in front.

I am a shy guy, i would definatly want the girl sitting across from me than next to me, it makes me very uncomfortable to sit next to someone while eating.

Accross. I can still stare at her eyes and pretend to look behind her if I feel she notices me staring. You can still be intamite by touching his hands and looking into his eyes while you smile. If you sit next to him, he might get nervous and he will not enjou the evening, neither will you

I am so shy it is disgusting but I would welcome a "forward" woman. It is much easier to respond to an advance than to make it yourself. Being shy sucks.
