2 Years ago I had a cavity with an existing filling, my dentist wanted to do a root canal and I told him I didn't want one "just pull it" My teeth break when I have had them in the past. Well, he did the root canal any way, during the procedure he broke off a tool in my mouth and left it in there ( in a root that was curled), and tooth broke and had to be cut in 4 pieces to be removed. Now I am having swelling and pain and have a very hard lump in the roof of my mouth. Do I go back to the same dentist and make him fix the problem? He has a very good reputation, and said if I had any problems with it he would make it right...Just don't know what to do.
