The Bible is about how mankind screws up and how God continues to love us, so unless we can see how mankind has sinned, how God has forgiven us, and that a Savior has been promised and given to us, somewhere in the story, we are reading the wrong message. I think our screw up in this story is in imagining God limits himself to our conception of time. God is timeless, so a thousand years really could be an hour to him. Thus we cannot copy the ignorant, this behavior also goes counter to what our Savior is about.

What harm is there in giving Scientists credit for using intelligent logic? None if we don't forsake our belief in Jesus as Savior. Get it? Don't be a block to someone elses blessing. Jesus came to save us, not condem us, nor should we practice condemnation.

So much depends (as with red wheelbarrows) whether you have Faith or belief in how All This was made. If you read certain books and have Faith in them, then the answer is surely yes, at least for you and some others.

If you are one who believes that the verb "believe" requires evidentiary information, then the answer is no. One can hold the question to be valid as myth, but myth is a bit different in its domain than what we consider to have actually happened.

Who knows what a day is in the eyes of God. The Bible says a day is like a thousand yrs to God. Could be a million or why not a billion yrs.?

It didn't say how long it took, only that it took a day for God. That could mean a billion years or so for you to distinguish life out of an ape. As far as your religious preconceptions, good luck, as long as you have heard about God, then my job is done, I don't like arguing.

You have heard about Christ being the Son of God, so when your day comes, you can't complain about not hearing about it......

How could he possibly have created Muslims as that religion is only 1500 years old?
Before that, there were no muslims.
It started when god (allah) reveiled this religion to Muhammed the prophet. Everyone who believes his message from then on is a Muslim. God did not create the muslims any more than he created the city of New York (f.y.i: No, New York has not always been around).

And no, he didn't create the others either.

All species evolved here on Earth.
Religion is an invention of people to keep track of history, communicate laws and guidelines on how to live, and to control people.

There is no god who created all these from nothing. They are created due to environmental changes( still changing) from the time of big bang. A God is one who pocesses extrordinary good qualities which helps mankind to evolve in better way. If you pocess these qualities you can be a God. The recognitions come automatically. With help of their wisdom, we can be more civilised in looking a man as man only.. not as a Muslim, Jew or Hindu. The true civilisation lies in this concept only. All modernity cannot be Civilised but all civilised are modern.

Genesis is ancient Hebrew poetry. Poetic form handed down through thousands of years by rote memorization before it was finally written down, poetic form so it would be easier to remember.
NOT to be taken literally!
