What exactly is on the other side of this life? Can you tell me, or refer me to a site that answers this? Thanks!

Too bad Pangel, one of the regulars in this site, takes a leave of absence. My hypothesis on this is medium contacts the spirit that have not yet elevated to the spiritual realm( failed to cross over). So to speak the spirit can only confirm their existence after bodily death but have no knowledge on what's waiting for them on the other side. The spirit can probably surmise what to expect being in the better position than human.

I have never understand why people can't leave the dead in peace. Why keep summoning them?

I have never met a medium that actually wasn't a fake. Most either use parlor tricks or actually delude themselves into believing that they are contacting the dead. When in reality their questions and answers are so vague as to apply to half of the world's population.

Most claim they are told that there is some kind of Divine Presence on the other side. Details are usually hazy and contradictory.

Yes. A medium named Jane Roberts wrote extensivly about the make up of the universe and the nature or God. She channeled an entity named Seth, and there are many books published by Jane Roberts/Seth

In answer to another comment about "summoning" people from the other side. Seth voluntarily works from the other side, and recruited Ms. Roberts, and later another channel named Jean Loomis, not the other way around. There are many guides working on the other side, and they must offer thier permission to give such information, and the channel must also offer permission to allow the guide to use him/her in this way.

My friend, I am sure they have. The answers that come back would vary, but would never contain truth. So they could get info saying there is a God, and all people no matter who they believe in, will go to heaven one day. So they will get half truths. This is because the aim would be to deceive. The dead are dead and cannot be contacted. The "dead" the mediums contact are not the dead at all, but demons posing as the dead - in order to deceive.

Read Lev. 19:31. Biblically speaking, Christians are forbidden from consulting spirit mediums.
