Do you know any adults who suck their thumbs or do you suck yours? Are they male or female? Do you find it gross if it's a man but ok for a woman?

My nephew is a married father of 2 and he sucks his thumb every night so he can go so sleep.
The really funny thing is.....he's also a Marine.

According to the web site www.thumbsuckingadults.com 75% of adult thumb suckers are female and this is confirmed by other studies on this subject. This ratio is probably based on the idea that society, in general, accepts this more from a female than a male.

I have never known anyone personally. I did share a seat over from a bloke that did in a uni course....he would suck and nibble the tip of his thumb while waiting for things to start.
I think the girls found it....enchanting... That would be a good term for their reactions.

Ha, this is too much. I met a man, went out on a date, fell for him and carried on. He decided to take me to Cornwall on holiday with him and is parents. It was me and my daughter who stayed in the same room. This particuar morning she woke me up an said, "Keith is sucking his thumb." (28 year old) I said, "don't be stupid," and there he was, suck, suck, suck. I couldn't believe it. He continued to suck this thing every night. Even during sex. Blood on the pillow. Gross.
It was the biggest turn off imaginable And it didn't last long.
Do many adults really do this?
Foreplay was a nightmare. There he was with c... in hand and thumb in mouth. My God.
