There are a number of excellent programs that are able to scan the unclaimed areas of your hard drive and reclaim files that are there.
However, data recovery is not really cut out for novices. If it's a particularly important file, contact a professional data recovery service to try to get back your data. In the meantime, do not use the hard disk further; writing other files to the drive will increase the cahnces of the required file sectors being overwritten by other data.

File Recovery ver 7.1 works very well I have recovered quite a few things that have accidentally been deleted. If you do a search on ISO hunt you will find it there.
It is not possible if you have been saving stuff to the hard drive after the deletion as it may well have overwritten the files you want back. best to do it asap after the deletion.

First point of call is going into your recycle bin. the documents may still be there. If they are all you do is restore and it will go back to its original folder.
Second point of call is the computers restore tools that can take you back to a certain date and time, assuming that it is installed and actived.
Lastly if say you cannot get any moveoment from the above then install a data recovery programme and it will restore the information as long ast the disk has not been deep reformated of the infromation has not been written over. That should not ahppen along as there is some disk space on your machine and the problem is worked on immediately before and new information is put on it.

Reinstall residing house windows and use the format determination. little doubt there'll be some those which will say reinstalling isn't adequate to delete documents. enable me assure you, as long because of fact the guy who buys that's not an expert in documents retrieval, your documents is long previous. as properly, maximum those that get a used device at the instant are not interested in seeing if the previous proprietor has left report fragments, they only % to place of their very own stuff?

You have to look into your desktop's bin! Hopefully you have not deleted from there as well, otherwise, I don't know how you can recover them. I know however, that you can somehow do "undelete" but I am not sure how...you must ask a technician!
You can also enter into a site where you will find absolutely all of the technical information you need: http://www.howstuffworks.com It is the best I have even discovered. I am sure they mention something as simple as this...
Good luck!

Hi! Do not use the hard drive you deleted the documents from, slave the hard drive on another computer and run "get data back http://www.get-data-back.com/"
The moment you use this hard drive, anything you write to the disk increases the chance off windows overwriting the documents (data)
