I am traveling to mainland Spain in May 07 for a week. My passport is valid until June/ July 07 I have contacted the spanish embassy to see if I can travel on this passport and they state that as long as the passport is valid when you are going and when you are coming back you are able to use it. I know for any of the islands the requirements are different.

Please can you help me as I don't know whether to renew my passport before I go or will it be valid?

If you're a UK citizen, you can travel to any part of the EU on your passport so long as it is valid and has not expired. However, as previous respondents have suggested, you still have time to get your passport renewed. The UK Passport Office will allow you to carry up to 9 months unexpired time over to your new passport.

Canada already does not require individuals to have passports. that's completely a US regulation, surpassed after 9/eleven got here approximately. that's a real discomfort - Canadian passports are $250, and purely stable for 5 years. This has decreased Canadians traveling the united states of a lots.

Renew your passport now. Some countries require that your passport be valid for at least three months from the date of your arrival to their country so it's always safe to carry a passport that's valid for at least that amount plus a week or two before you leave the country.

i would re-new it you dont want to ruin your holiday over a passport issue that you could have fixed before you go, get a 10 year passport then you wont have to worry about it for a while.

Expedite your renewal. You will have to renew it, so you might as well get it done, get it in April by expediting the renewal process, and have peace of mind when traveling.

No, you don't need to.
