His too old for you, I don't belive that age should be the determination, but consider his expectations, consider the fact that his level of thinking may not meet your expectations. Being as young as you are with so much to live for, how will he keep up with that, what if you choose the option to live life to the full, will he be able to keep up or even allow it? What is his motive, generally in these cases it purely physical and nothing as real as you would most possibly want it to be. The joy of being young is that your journey just begins, being on a road of discovery, and often it is best enjoyed with someone who is as well discovering. Don't be easily fooled, as he does have tons of experience in dealing with woman, and may say the right thing at the right time as he understands most probably what a lady would like to hear, particularly someone who desires to be treated like an adult woman and not a little girl. Be careful, check him out, but never sell yourself short because he makes you feel good. Honey, I may have my opinion against this, but it is purely your decision, don't make the mistake of falling for some who is not on your level. It may have great potential in harming you to great degrees. Question then is, what would you say to the man you will marry one day, what would you say to your darling daughter when she is about the same age, yeah sure we are living in messed up times, but it doesnt mean we have to mess ourselves up and the people who follow after us in our journey. When you die one day, what is that you want people to say at your funeral when everyone rises up and has something to say about you, what would their words be? You determine that, as much as you determine to take responsibility for your destiny, and as much as you make the decision to study, work or stay at home. Please be wise about this, as it is not good 99.9% of the time and only works out 0.01% of the time.

whats wrong with you both? is there some reason that he cant find himself an adult woman his own age group? shouldnt he really have been married by now? by the time you reach youre sexual peak he will be loosing his sexual drive! im sorry but i think its a bit sick and twisted and unlikely to work, what could a 17 yr old girl see in a man of 37? money perhaps? he could be your father!!! did you never hear about the dirty old men hanging around outside the school gates?

I would say theres nothing wrong with that , Your 17 so your legal to do what u like .

I dont see why age should be an issue, We are all Human , some people at 37 still look in tip top condition :)

If there guy is good to you and treats you well then go for it .

Yes there is. What is wrong with this man that he need to have sex with a child? Because thats what a 17 yr old is, lets face it. I have a daughter thats 2yrs old if I find out that a 37 yr old man is messing with her while shes only 17, I'll kill him. That means when she was born he was 20 years old. At 20 how many newborns did you want to have a relationship with?

as someone who has mostly had partners with fairly large age gaps (10-18 years) I would say there is nothing wrong with it as such but if it was to last there could be in the future as in 5 years time you will both want different things in life. In all honest try and stick to roughly your own age group I think an age gap of 5-7 years is big enough.

Yeah, if he has no probs messin with a 17 year old, do you think he would think twice about fiddlin with a 15 year old? Dirty ol' Bas. If it was my daughter, i would kick seven shades of crap out of him!
At 17 a girl should be out having fun with folks her own age and enjoying life, not going with some creapy old git. If you lived in America, he would go to jail as a pedo!

You are not of age and he could go to jail if you are sexually active, also you had better make sure that he is not married. You need to ask yourself why he wants someone so much younger than him. Wisdom comes with age and I just wonder what he is going to try to pull over on you. He is almost 20 years older than you. He could be your dad. Rethink this one and go get a nice young man closer to your age.

To me age is just a number. But I don't think that BIG of an age difference, I would not go out with him.
