The best way is to go to your local library
and pick up some Spanish or Italian CD-R to teach you all about the languages.

If you try and learn them at the same time you will probably end up very confused, they are similar, but not the same. Some words are completely different and some are the same but actually mean something completely different. So if you are serious about learning, learn one, once you have that mastered you should easily be able to pick up the other. I speak some Spanish but can more or less understand basic italian, though I can't speak it. Also, if you really want to learn it, it's worth investing some money in it. Try the Michel Thomas language course on CD available from Amazon, it's amazing, well worth the money.

The most cost-effective process to gain knowledge of Italian or Spanish is to talk and to be written instantly with persons whose language is that, except to hear track in the ones languages with the songs translated for your language; as good as to observe films in customary variant with subtitles in English. This is simplest and low-priced, and this manner it's because the people gain knowledge of to talk our language, listening and studying what say the persons who're to ours round for the duration of our adolescence
