No, there is no path from your colon backwards to your mouth. Unless he somehow managed to eat feces and therefore had them in his stomach, his vomit couldn't have had that in it. But there are plenty of stinky lumpy things that look and smell a good deal like feces in ordinary vomit, which is probably something he ate earlier.

Only if you have a bowel obstruction. Even then it takes awhile to get that bad.Now retching hard enough to vomit thru his nose and mouth at the same time I'd believe.

More than likely it was something valled bile, which is a green/black looking viscous substance stored in the appropriately named bile duct, and this only happens after some serious vom action has already occured. I think it is the body's kneejerk reaction to over indulgence, when it produces it

yes, it sure is! Especially if he takes certain pain pills that relax involuntary, smooth muscle(like digestive sphincter muscle.) One good retch and anything can come up.

No, I don't think a healthy person vomits feces. This happens only if you have a bowel obstruction of some sort.
