From a woman who used to sneak out and now a parent of children who mess up.
Yes, you probably will be grounded for some time. I think your Dad probably is too angry to set a time right now. He is trying to get through the anger and trying to figure out a way that is suitable to punish you. He's also trying to get you to be a part of the punishment process because you knew you did something wrong.
As far as the apology letters/notes, please don't write them just to try and make your punishments lighter. Fighting at school is wrong and can't be justified. If you truly are sorry about fighting with another girl, then make sure you are being sincere and honest. Don't try and justify your actions when you do have the parent/teacher conference, just accept the punishments and deal with them then move on and do better in the future.

Your dad is probably pretty scared right now. What you did was very dangerous. At your age you are not capable or realizing what kind of trouble you could have gotten into. Your parents are punishing you because they love you and want you to understand that you can't just do what ever you want whenever you want. Life is short and you will have many years ahead of you to hang out all night with your friends when you are older and wiser. ( i know you think I am crazy and preaching) I would take away your TV, phone, cellphone, computer etc. and make you stay home and read. I would probably ground you a week for however many hours you were out. And it looks like you also got into a fight that would be another two weeks. So your summer would probably be gone. Also my dad was in the military and the way they look at things is when you mess up it reflects negatively on him. which could be damaging to his career, which is insignificant to the danger you could have put yourself in, but it is something to think about.

You aren't grounded for life, LOL! Think up a good punishment for yourself. Your dad wants to see how responsible you are. How bad was what you did? If someone littler than you (say an 8 year old) did the same thing, and YOU had to punish HER, what would you do -- realistically? I would say you are grounded for about a week, at least, but no more than a month.

In a parents eyes, by sneaking out you are leaving both their protection and that of the home, to get up to something they would not approve of. Otherwise why sneak out to start with?
All a parent wants is for their child to be safe. When you sneak out, you take that away from them. Your punishment should be severe and if you where mine it would be grounded for 6 months, no school and bring in a tutor who has my permissision to belt you if you misbehave and more or less have no contact with the outside world. Everytime you try to sneak out or contact someone, then an extra 6 months is added to the sentence. No argueing, guilty till proven innocent.
Hope this helped with your question :-)
PS..........I noticed he didnt take your computer so i question the validity of your question!

I couldn't really decipher enough of your writing to tell what you were grounded for.....
Maybe a better punishment would be to practice your english lit classes.....lol
That would be punishment for me....but then " if I were U, then eng l is n b thang, y?" Just try to communicate to a boss using your language, see if you hold that job long enough to pay your first months' rent.......lol
Good luck.....really, good luck finding a job with your attitude....

you are the one who knows the extent of the mischief you did if any so you yourself would realize the suitable punishment if you are really sincere ..... i'd say just show your father you really mean it by grounding yourself for about a month ......
