Well it really depends on the age and maturity of the guy...and the girl for that matter. Some guys in this situation will act just like he is...slightly aloof and somewhat guilty about the whole thing. Another guy might be upfront about it (brutally honest). If you are a girl who can take honesty in that way....tell him you can and will understand...if you are a gal who can't...then expect a half hearted effort. Communication is the key!!!

I had a girl do that to me for the same reason.

yes a lot of guys do feel guilty when they break up for no good reason hon..and i am sure some girls feel the same way too.
