Most definitely. The Netherlands did, and they have the lowest incidences of sex related crimes, including those including children, in the whole of the world.
Legalizing paid-for sex means that legal controls can be enforced on hygiene, activities can be monitored because they are open, criminal involvement will be unprofitable, and those whose needs are met will be better citizens. It happened in Holland, it can happen anywhere the government has the balls to pass the legislation.
Incidentally, christianity in Holland hasn't suffered, either.

Overseas it is legal in some countries but the women are required to be healthy and it is very controlled "work" ...
Probably making it legal and under those circumstances would make it right. The way its so free out there now why would one want to go there anyway? Stand in line????

some years in the past I did a term paper on that very venture. To make an prolonged tale short Legalizing prostitution might make all prostitutes get a well being examination month-to-month and have documentation to coach it. A "John" might desire to ask for the documentation previous to the come across. it may additionally reason the pros to ask the "John" if he has a sparkling invoice of well being (and coach it). that would desire to keep away from "Sexually Transmitted Desease". Secondly, it would now make Prostitution a taxable company. think of the gross revenues and tax alleviation. Amsterdam has the stunning concept.

Yes.
1) Prohibition has never worked;
2) It would eliminate criminal elements if it were government regulated;
3) Through this regulation, another big spin off to the community at large, is that mandatory STD screening would reduce chances of infection to a fraction.

No, because the people profiting are the pimps mainly, or the sex club owners and while taxes are
paid it does attract a lot of women into the sex
industry where it is legal............................................................................
There are other ways to make money, and this
is not one of the best ways it is risky some of the
girls are involved in drugs, and the spread of
both crime and drug crime is prevalent in the
Prostitution and sex club industry.............................
Now the other thing is that it is not a bad girl industry as such, some of these women do this out of genuine hardship, and because they have
no other choices, some do find husbands and
are able to buy their way out of the industry.......................................................................
Some do it for drugs, some for personal wealth......
It is a pity that so many of these girls also get
preyed upon out there, in the brothels and on
the streets themselves, there is no real way
to protect them even in a legalised industry.......
There is also the aspect of underage girls, and
they may still get into a legalised industry using
fake documents.....................................................
Many crimes are committed within the sex industry
itself, not merely on the prostitution side but against pro's............................................................
No, do not legalise it................................................

Prostitution consists of two components: 1) an act of sex, and 2) a free market transaction.
Having no personal objection to either, I would say there's no reason to make it unlawful.

Of course. There is no reason to make it illegal. It's immoral? Big ******* deal. A lot of legal activities are highly immoral. We can't change the way people are, why punish man for being man?

No, it's morally wrong and goes against the norms of civilized behavior. Prostitution also "rewards" pimps. They should be locked up for violation of civil and human rights. If Nevada wants to remain legal in their acceptance of prostitution, it doesn't say much for their state leadership, their communities, churches, and morals.

It's legal in Nevada and has been for some time without any significant problems. I vote yes.

No, because it will continue to exploit women. When these women are ready to settle down, and it's known they use to be prostitutes, what happens to them? Everyone should be able to pursue marriage without having a black mark against, and whether people want to accept it or not, it's a black mark. If not, how would one feel if their female family members (mothers included) were publically known to be prostitutes? I wouldn't like it.
But, hey, to each their own.
