ALWAYS SEE A GP IF YOU HAVE THESE SYMPTOMS

Take a specimen into you GP for analysis and if you have ANY back ache or visible blood in urine or its cloudy SEE you GP asap as kidney infections can be very serious!

Drink water, water and more water, Barley water and cranberry juice/ supplements are good too. Helps flush out the bacteria!

Good Luck

I have had it twice and its no fun. There is the urge to pee but often nothing happens, if it does happen it burns when you pee and it rather painful. There is a constant feeling of discomfort, and you don't feel any relief once you have used the loo.

How to treat it, first thing as soon as you suspect you have it, drink LOTS of water, I recommend just having a bottle of water with you all day and keep drinking. Go to the chemist, you can buy these packets of power you add to water that help reduce the symptoms. Drinking unsweetened cranberry juice also helps, also keep drinking it after you have gotten better. Apparently it also helps to prevent it occurring.

Pain when passing urine, feeling unwell. Went to doctor and given some medication (antibiotics?) which cured the condition fairly quickly. Female are more prone to urine infections (check on website attached for symptoms and causes).

Constant feeling of needing to wee, and even when you've been, you feel the urge to go again. sometimes a burning or stinging sensation when urinating. Generally feeling unwell. Drink plenty of clear fluids and speek to you GP. Or ask the pharmacist as you could have cystitis which can be treeted with sashes of cystimin or something similar. the are usually cranberry flavor.

Very frequent urination. Sometimes when I visted the toilet I urinated, sometimes I didnt, however when did, it stung like hell. I often had a few close calls, where I suddenly needed the toilet right there and then, and once, I will admit I didnt make it :-( My doc prescribed anitbiotics for 10 days, that soon got shot of it. Drink plenty of water and cranberry juice too.

It's probably cystitis that you have. I sympathise because it can be very painful. Main symptoms are the constant urge to spend a penny but nothing happens except a pain like a knife twisting inside you. You need to see a doctor and get some midication because if it continues it can affect the kidneys, which can be serious. Drinking cranberry juice and barley water is supposed to help too. Good luck!

Yes, my symptoms were burning sensation whilst passing water and feeling the urge to pee frequently, but without the ability to. It was quickly remedied with a course of anti-biotics as well as cranberry juice.
