I don't smoke in the week but then I have mabey 8 on the saturday night and then no more for a week. And then every 4 months or so I get a mucus after in the throat that stays for about 3 weeks? What can this be? thanks. I will prob stop now anyway!

by smoking you have irritated the lining of your lungs. your lungs are getting rid of the harmful chemicals you have inhaled and producing mucus to help clear it out.

If i were u i wouldnt smoke at all, why only smoke occasionally when u can not smoke and not have to put up with these effects

It is probably your bodies way of protecting itself from those chemicals you are inhaling. Our bodies are amazing in how they work. You should take better care of it before it is too late. Think of all the money you would have if you were not buying ciggarettes.

smoking increases the chance of the cold. and weakens your immune system. its probably just phelgm. i know women dont do it, but maybe you should try it. can you "hawwwkh" i know it sounds disgusting but its a good way to clear your lungs. "hawwwkh" and then snot out both nostrils. all in private off course.
