Mainly it's to get noticed by the opposite sex and have some banter. I do know though that this sort of behaviour can get out of hand and can lead to potential danger.
On the other hand the female may not be flirting but being friendly but as is the case with most UK guys reads this friendliness as a come on. Unlike their European counterparts who look on this chatting as that of a pal/friend and not as a signal to want to form a sexual relationship.
I know as I have been there and worn both of those tee shirts and I preferred the European one.

Not all women do thank you very much. I don't flirt with my boy mates or with any guys that I meet and just chat to. I think that the problem is the dudes who think that a girl is flirting if you are just talking. Some girls actually just feel very comfortable around guys and make male friends easily. I do like to have banter, but that is completely different. When you are comfortable with your male friends there is no issue about having a bit of banter cos you know it ain't gonna happen.

Men do it too, you know. Some people actually don't know how to relate to the opposite sex without being flirtatious. It's annoying but true. These people usually have very low self esteem and want the admiration and attention of others in order to feel 'loved', to feel they are likable.

cant flirt with a girl! i guess it makes a girl FEEL like a girl to flirt. If you dont like that....you must be a straight girl ...not a guy. I would think most guys would like it. some girls do it to make a guy that feels down about himself...to perk him up, give him confidence...not for the flirt...but for the next gal you meet youre interested in might notice your confidence.
when did flirting become something evil anyway? why do people have to turn it into something bad or worrisome.
if people would just grow up, smile at each other and feel good....you dont have to do anything more than that. it's just a feel good feeling...nothing more!

Men are too horny.I don't flirt.But whenever i am friendly to someone ( male),they think i am offering something.I"ve put on a serious look for so long,that my face stayed that way.Sometimes i get asked to smile.lol.And men are intimidated of me.I like that.More comfortable that way.

Men do it to without realising it, you are the ones who can't walk down the street with your gf and still have to look at other women that walk by i never look at another man when im with my bf i wouldn't disrespect him like that

They want to reassure that they are desirable...not all of them though do this...like playing hard to get, the girl feels overjoyed that so many guys want her...too much of this reflects insecurity...
