and yes dont eat from unknown person

Lock ur laugage with chain
Dont take sound sleep
Close the door after 11 at night, if not closed
and rest points as above

Really depends on which part of the world u r travelling. In any case don't try to jump off a train till it comes to a perfect stop.
Keep ur belongings where u can see them
Inform the conductor if any unclaimed luggage is lying close by( pl don't try to fiddle with it - it could be a booby trapped bomb)
Upon boarding the train check where is the emergency exit & the emergency stop chain.
Check if there is a fire alarm
