tera, tu , tumahara, tum have same meaning but are used in different form. tera = yours (when addressing casually)
tu, tum = you (often used for addressing a close frnd)

tumahara is also yours but in a more respect giving sense.

YES Sir is more like JI Saabji. HA = yes JI is a suffix normally used. JI can also imply yes when used without "HA"

Actually tera tu is a singular, tumhara in the sense yours, and tum is used for close friends circle for example if your conversation is with friends then the wording is

tera naukri mil gaye kya? - Did you got your job
tu ne exam di? - did you give your exam
like wise, and also when you want to say yes sir then simply say ji sir or ha ji
Thanks

I'm not a Hindi language expert but, I do know the language somewhat.
I'll try my best to explain.....
**'Tera' 'Tu' 'Tumhara' and 'Thum'.....all pretty much mean the same thing (you or yours) but used in different context. These are imforma wordsl!!
'Tera'/ 'Thumara'= your or yours .........for instance, Tera/Thumara 'ghar'(house) or, Tera/ Thumara 'hoga' (must be yours').
**'Tu' and 'Tum' = YOU
***Yeah, you can use 'Han Ji' 'Ji Han' or 'Han' to mean 'yes" in a formal way
