every time yahoo deletes one of my questions they send me a list of suicide hotlines cause the questions they delete usually have something to do with suicide. i don't think i'll call one anyway for a lot of reasons, but if i did, what do they actually say?

Listen and listen good
i have been reading all your questions and answers and i think you ARE actually capable of taking an interest in life and getting back on track. do so.
did you know that if you ACT depressed for long enough you start to fell that way for real? i found out the hard way. tried to get attention and it got WAY out of control
getting attention through acting desprate is NOT a good thing for all involved.
You obviously enjoy various aspects of your life. Has anything really bad actually happened to you or are you just bored with life. Because some people have it really hard you know.

My dad raped me.

Now THAT is hard to deal with. it hurts every day. i will never get over it. i get very very VERY depressed. it has scarred me forever.

But Im still here arent I.

What Do Suicide Hotlines Do

Like 10 years ago or so I was 13 yrs. old and at a sleep over my friends decided it would be fun to prank Boys Town HotLine and The 9 Line. Which were suicide hotlines. (I know, very childish and horrible of us) So they just asked our name, where we were from and what was on our mind. They were just there to listen to us and answer any questions we had. And then ofcoarse we acted like we were on a cordless phone ready to jump off a bridge and she hung up on us. lol I know... So terrible. We will all be puniched for that.

Good luck! And if you feel depressed and suicidal get an appointment with a doctor. Maybe they can put you on some medication to help you. You may be bipolar, depressed, have anxiety, ocd, or one of many other illnesses.

Good luck again

I would strongly suggest going to www.suicideforum.com This is a forum where you can openly ask these questions. Others on this site are ones that have lost a loved one due to Suicide as well as ones having Suicidal thoughts.

This might be a place where you can find some comfort. As another poster said there are TONS of Jerks on here.

Unfortunately I do understand they need to have guidelines, but posting questions about Suicide doesn't cause one "to have suicidal thoughts". It is 95 % of the time a chemical imbalance in the brain.

If you are having suicidal thoughts though and you really need to seek help. I'm sorry that we are in an age where Suicide isn't as open as it should be. I think because of this it scares many into getting the help they need.

As far as the hot lines are concerned I don't think they are bad to call. They will most likely tell you the steps you need to take to get yourself on the road to feeling like your old self as well as healthy.

Also if you want to visit a site called www.save.org there might be some information that you could seek on there of steps you can take to get help.

Why are you asking questions on Suicide. Are you okay?
Those hotlines won't make you say or do anything. But the people who help you are trained counsellors and can answer any questions you have.

in case you felt the ought to call a suicide hotline, your situation should not be how they stumbled on you. in case you have been particularly thinking of injuring your self than be happy they did, in certainty, discover you. in case you have been in basic terms attempting to get interest, discover yet in a diverse way. those hotlines are for those that unquestionably need help.

There is not a answer that fits all people or occasions. I worked on a suicide hotline on a volunteer basis due to my love for other people getting past the hard times.

Many times I would try to investigate the person's reasoning faculties and what he or she thought suicide would solve. A lot of those people just needed an attentive listener to their difficulties and not so much as to whether you agreed with them or not. I found that if I read GOD'S Word daily because I wanted to and not with a critical heart, that I would make it through my hard times much easier because after reading GOD'S Word it made me also confide in GOD through prayer even more. Try that!

THey delete your questions because they are afraid it might encourage others to kill themselves. Thats why some have been purposefully violating you as well. THey just ask you questions to get your inner feelings out. I strongly suggest you call one. YOu have asked this many times and we can't fully realy what they would tell you. Privacy is one of their biggest concern, so don't worry about that. Trust me, you'll feel better and not as alone.

Edit. Note, I have told you this before, This is not the appropriate place to ask for help. Yahoo Answers is filled with jerks.

Well, just know that some of the suicide lines will run your number and if it is a land line send the cops over to your house to check on you.

Am not sure if you are aware why you want to do that?

Do you know after commiting suicide what is life going to be?

Do you think you will just vanish? and this will your suffering?

Suicide is easy, but whats next is not easy at all, belive me I know this for sure.

This life is just a test that we all have to go through and you can drop out from this test. Who given you this life is the only one who should take it back. Good luck in this life as no luck after suicide.
