Also if you saw someone double dip, will you say anything?
Will you still eat it ? I just don't like their saliva in my dips.

The solution to the double dipping dilemna is... dip the other end of the chip or veggie... it's hasn't been bitten into and is just as clean as the first end.
And even if it was a true double dip... in a family or circle of friends I wouldn't say anything. You're as likely to pick up a germ from shaking hands or kissing your old auntie as from a dip :)

I really doubt I'd even notice. I dip the other end as someone has already said, it's clean. Generally I've always assumed other people did this too, but even if they bite it off, don't most people break it off with their teeth, without getting globs of saliva all over? Only occasionally I've seen small children who really drool all over their chips, fingers etc... Now I'm sure some people think this is 'cute', but that is a bit gross to me... other than that I've never seen anyone drool so bad I cared, just biting off a chip & dipping it again doesn't faze me.

I would speak up at a event that friends & co-workers would attend.But in my family we have 5 toddlers 3 and under, so the dip is dipped with 1 chip often.I try to get what I want out before they spot it.But they are children and ours.It is not excepted in a public setting...

I sometimes double dip into the sauce but do it discretely and personally I don't care if others don't like it stiff. I'm happy and well fed .I dont watch others so I cant go off any of the good food.

It depends on the person. People open mouth kiss other people all the time. People can handle the secretions of other people all the time too, you know what I mean too dude.
Anyhoooo, I all depends on the person who dipped that chip.

I am only ok with double dipping if its my family or VERY close freinds. Otherwise I usually refrain from buffet style dinners at parties and such because people can be so nasty.

ha ha i hate it when people double dip.especially when im eating chicken nuggets and sharing my BBQ sauce with someone,and they bite the chicken a little bit and put it back in the BBQ sauce lol its SICK.
but i dont say anything,cause some people get insulted.

It depends on the person .. if its my darling then its ok .. if someone else does this I feel bad but can say nothing ...
