Where did this god-awful expression spring from? Is it just used by slappers who like to sleep around, and who think it sounds better than,'Casual aquaintances I like to **** when I'm bored'.

It came about because how do u describe a friend that is just a friend, that wont ever be more cause there isn't that feelings there, but u feel comfortable enough to kiss, fondle, or have sex with, without having any strings attached, besides friendship???
Quite a mouth full hey?? Friends With Benefits (now called FWB) is a consented thing, if one feels that extra feelings are developing, they pull out, its not meant to spoil the original friendship.....
Its not meant for everyone, ¬ all would agree to such a setup.

Wouldn't know where it came from but someone obviously coined the phrase after they had sex with a friend and didn't want anything more from the relationship
