Sweetie,meeting the parents generally means a male is serious about his relationship.No male,is going to put himself through that if he didnt care a great deal for his partner.He must care a great deal for you and your relationship.Generally speaking(not saying this is the situation with you),the male always meets with the parents to ask for their daughters hand in marriage.This isnt always the case of course,but the majority of the time the male wants to ask her father for her hand.This,as time has went on hasnt became as necessary.I think,if he is wanting to meet your parents that he is serious about you.Good luck hun and have a good night!

It depends on the guy. For me i.e. yeah it'd have to be serious cuz meeting the parents is like, "Meeting the Parents." esp the first time. Other times the guy is just playing the girl. What im trying to say is, its totally up to you, the female. You have to be strong enough to make the judgment of whether or not this guy is worth showing the parents. And also it depends on who your parents are. If there very protective, uptight (no offense) or worrisome, then you have to add in that factor; "Is bringing this guy home worth the sacrifice? So, get to know guy. I'd say at least 3-6 months. And if YOU think he is a real stand up guy, yeah, he is worth it. GL

Hmm, sometimes. If he wants to meet the girl's parents then he must obviously care about the girl a lot. Who knows...things could be going well..and continue that way. Or the other way around.

Not necessarily, but he is definitely a gentlemen, because not all guys want to meet the girls parents too soon. Appreciate that quality and take it from there. Good luck.

Not necessarily. Have you been dating long or have you recently hooked up? He could might just be polite, but he just might want to see what his future would be like if he was serious, and then cuts & run if he freaks out.
