As long as it is not you it should not matter - from my understanding it does not work well with other drugs for schizophenia. I have taken it successfully and my mother was schizophrenic. There is a lot of info on the web - net doctor is a good site.

Citalopram is an antidepressant- I know, I'm on it- and that has nothing at all to do with Schizophrenia.

This would be something you need to discuss with your dr. They will be able to recommend if this is suitable for you or not considering your family history. If your dr has prescribed this and knows your family history then it should be fine. But if you have any worries please discuss it with your dr!
