You should just read the labels of the products you buy. Theres alternatives to the stuff youre allergic to. You can try tofu or soy and you can get different berried foods that work just as great as strawberries and Instead of snacking on nuts you can try corn nuts, its everything like peanuts just better and tastier, just be more careful and remember that some allergies you can outgrow.

Hi, the first thing I can tell you to do is try your best to relax. I understand personally what you're going through. There are about 15 things I can eat. It's very hard to deal with, I've actually laid on my kitchen floor crying because I cannot eat what I want to or what everyone else is.

There is a good website that might help you. It's www.foodallergy.org. It will help you learn to read labeling, find substitutes for some foods and help on what to avoid.

I'm not trying to sound mean or bad but are these the only things you can't eat or are there more? For example I can't eat eggs, soy, milk, fish, shellfish, nuts, red meat, wheat or gluten, and many fruits and vegetables. Not to mention that I'm allergic to latex. I could possibly help you come up with recipes or ideas on what you can eat.

From personal experience it will take a little while for you to get adjusted on what you can't eat. It will drive you batty for a bit. There are still things to eat but it may take a lot of adjustments.

Good Luck!

Oh, this website will give you recipes on things you can fix also.

That's hard! I've got a friend who's in the same boat as you are.

What she ended up doing was becoming a vegetarian, since she reacted so badly to a lot of meats.

Try this: Make two lists, one of the things you can eat, and one of those you can't. And when you go shopping, use your lists.

Good luck!
