It seems you are referring to Proverbs 22:24 where in the New KJV (only version I have in front of me at the moment) it says
Make no friendship(fellowship) with an angry man, And with a furious man do not go
Lest you learn his ways And set a snare for your soul.

Hope that is the one you mean
