Ok, I have been taking advil and switch to motrin for past two months. Motrin is ibuprofen 200mg. I take ATLEAST 15 pills a day!! I have major tooth pain, mostly likely because of loose filling, tooth decay etc. It is just unbearable!! My swollen neck glands and CONSTANT migraines & ear pain...HORRIBLE..if I don't take this much medication, I would just tear up and pain is unbearable..I just simply can't afford dental right now..I am a broke college student at age 21!

Question is, since I am popping so much pills for pain..for two months now..thats about almost 500 pills! Usually a bottle would last quite some time for lot of people..but would anything bad happen? besides maybe my liver messing up..I don't think I can overdoes..seems like I have become immune to pills..since I take so much on a regular and I have to take more and more for it to work..poppin 3 pills at one time only last for no longer than two hrs..if I am lucky..yes i know this is serious..professional info on this?

uhhh, you could possibly even get a brain abscess and die from that nasty infection in your tooth that you are not getting treated. Go to your local community health agency, things like your situation is what they are there for. Check "Health Department" in blue pages of phone book in your county for more info.
There are other side effects from taking so much OTC meds, like blowing our your liver. Please get help!

I hate to say this, but you can't afford not to have this treated right now. If you have any infection or abcesses that can spread and literally, it can kill you.

If that alone doesn't get you to seek some medical attention, ibuprofen can increase the risk of having life-threatening heart, circulation and bleeding problems. The longer you take it (yes, it is possible to overdose), the higher the risk. You can also develop severe stoman and gastrointestinal problems that can be fatal while taking ibuprofen.

Find a dental school that will treat you for low or no cost (there might even be something at your college or university) or call around and see if a dentist will treat you and allow you to make payments to them.

You really need to go to a vet. You should also switch the cage you are using since it might happen again. You Cannot give an animal human meds because they arn't made for them. Try contacting a vet by phone. They will likely ask you to come in but they will also give you ideas for helping her heal.

Go to a dental school. They can pull out the bad tooth and you can wait until you get money to fix it futher. The students will do it for free for the experiance, but you might not get good pain management with this. It will be extremly painful, but it might prevent further problems later,.

Rotten teeth emit poison that can travel to your brain. Serious stuff. You need to go to your college doctor to get this taken care of. You need antibiotics, not just pain meds.

Get to the root of the problem, and get your teeth fixed. (Pun unintentional.) Too many pills can kill you, as you probably heard in the news today.
