It depends on what you want to learn! There are heaps of techniques on how to remember things (ie. if you want to remember an order of things, imagine yourself moving through each room of your house, with one thing in each room or remember using a silly story). You do have to keep you mind active (its like exercise). Start with simple little things crosswords, sudoku etc. Also phsically stop and say to yourself....how can i remember this? Another thing to is to link with things you already know (otherwise known as a hook...something that you can link with something else).

Are you feeling ok? Dizzy? Sleepy? If yes, you need o solve your health problems and the memory will improve itself.

If your health is fine, take some supplements like vitamin B with C and ginko. These are fuel for the brain. There are some books on technique to remember better.

To rise you memory you should learn how to deal with your mind i mean that when you need to memories some thing try to talk with your mind for example say "i send this in formation to the left side gate one" and try to make that thing which you want to memories it an important stuff to you or you could picture it in your way and repeat it many times then
start doing some thing else and think with different thing, after one moment try to remember it and good luck.

they "prescribe" card games and board games like chess to the elderly to try and keep up memory. also there are many video games out now for the next generation of memory and mind games.

eating prunes, raisins and nuts would help..it's better to associate things u'd like to memorize with other words that rhymes. eg. knife=five

Try not to commit all type of sins if possible. .
Eat healthy.
Try to have nap at noon.

do a mental excersise like a crossword this will improve mental agility
