Well lets have a national Caucasians day first, then we will work on you atheist. We both have about the same amount of chance of getting a holiday!

You are right! It's only fair to have a Holiday officially recognizing the millions of people who do not believe in God. They have a reason to celebrate also. They would enjoy the opportunity to have a day off work to persue their hobby or toast to their special brand of thought with their fellow atheists and revel in the knowledge that they are not alone in their convictions. I suggest the birthday of a well known atheist. How about Mark Twain, Albert Einstein, Carl Marx, or Thomas Jefferson? Sigmund Freud, or Thomas Edison would be another great brithday to celebrate it!
It's a great idea!!

If there was an Atheist Holiday, no one would know about because the media refrains from mentioning anything about the non-believers.

Why should they? They believe in nothing. Should we have a "nothing holiday??" I guess we already do--any day we do little or nothing, believe, worship, trust in nothing, is an Atheist style day. It amounts to nothing.

How about Christmas or Easter?
hell, even most Christians are more interested in chocolate bunnies and a pile of presents than they are in 'God' or 'Jesus'.
