why do some children do motion in their pants if somebody shout at them?

Actually, during a "fight or flight" situation everything speeds up and you become more alert, but the one thing that does't happen is your digestion system. It slows down.

After the initial adrenal rush, when the heart rate slows down, etc... then that's when they would "do motion in their pants".

Any child that is "doing the motion" after someone scares him, is ummmmm.... the problem isn't the child.

What the hell is the parent screaming about that would cause the child to react to that extreme? Whatever it is, it's wrong. The parent needs to count to 20, and put themselves in time out until they can cool down enough to talk to the child.

Sometimes children get scared when yelled at and wet themselves cause they are really scared. That is a sign of a nervous child and a weak bladder.

dats because they get scared to a stimuli.....these kinds of reactions are caused by adrenal glands....which is also called as the 'flight,fight or fright hormone'....this is the gland which works in case of emergency...

They are obviously frightened. Adults will do that too if they are scared enough. It's part of the "fight or flight" reaction - we empty our bowels so that it doesn't weigh us down when we bolt.
