Be bold, confront him.

If this guy really likes you then he is a shy guy."A weirdo".The guy is playing a child's game. Why did he not walk up to you and tell you that he likes you and his reasons for liking you.Since he has not done this, find out the places he goes to and hang out there a couple of times.Make sure he sees you then you can start to watch his body language.I bet you are a shy girl as well.Of course why be concern about someone that tells a different person they like you.I bet you can't wait for it.If you are in his area of relaxation, play the ignorant and if he does not walk up to you before getting drunk, then he is not for you.Watch the rate at which he consumes alcohol if you are in a drinking spot.If you are that desperate for the guy, then walk pass him with your ears standing up like those of a rabbit in expectation. You are a lady I presume so you should be able to determine when chemistry is building up.When there is real chemistry, you automatically become irresistible to the guy.You could become confuse if the guy is shy and fails to approach.Just 3minutes to have a quick chat with him will reveal everything to you.Good luck

First off think about it. How is your relationship with your sister? I know it sounds mean but sometimes siblings can be mean and may just be messing around with you, or maybe she thinks you aren't too brave when it comes to men and wants to get you to just ask someone out.
Now if this is not the case, and you and your sister are on good terms or your sister would never lie to you, then you need to think about the guy. If you think that you like him, then just go for it, the worst he could say is that he doesn't like you or is was some sort of misunderstanding. If this is too much for you, then try to feel him out. I'm not sure how old you are, but going out for drinking and dancing is always good, a few beers may loosen you both up. If that is not good for you, then just make a night of it and try to go to the movies or just the mall and do some window shopping. Just try to think of what he may like to do and something that you can at least tolerate, and you will both have fun and you can try to see if he likes you. If you go out a bunch of times (I said at least 4-5 times over 3 weeks) and he still has not said anything about liking you or you are just into him, then I would say just flat out ask him. Just say I heard from my sister that you were into me, is this true? Most guys don't like to play games, well depending on their age (younger guys don't care as much). Well, whatever happens good luck!

Well, first, I suppose you should probably just hang out with him. If you can't do that, then there's really no point in him liking you or vice versa, right? If you hang out with him for long enough to understand how he "works," you'll probably catch the drift that he likes you, and if you don't - then he probably doesn't. Guys are pretty easy to get, if you don't know, then it's not there.

Well, it depends on why do you want to know. Do you want to know because you're also interested? If yes, then I suggest that you go ahead and show signs that you like him. I always go for honesty. What have you got to lose anyway? But do not be very obvious like your flaunting yourself too much. If it turns out that he is not interested, then just pretend that you were being nice, and the next time you see him, you can completely ignore him. But, if it turns out that he is interested, then you've got yourself a guy!

But if you're really not interested in him, then dont bother to know. You'll just put malice in your mind when you see him. Its better to pretend that he's not interested in you.

Talk to him. Hang out a bit. Maybe he'll open up and ask you out. He may just be waiting for the opportunity. But of course, you can ask him out too. Be confident and ask, guys like confidence.

Be patient and see what happens or ask him. How does your sister know anyway? Where did she get it from? She might not have got it from the guy himself. It may only be a rumour.

There is no reason what so ever that says the guy has to ask the girl out. Be brave, muster up your confidence and ask him.

Hire a private detective and tap his phones and covertly break in his house in search of the evidence...or you could do it the hard way and ask him.

I'm with everyone else on this. Tie him to a chair and do some hardcore interrogation.

If he stares at you, gets jealous when you are around other guys, is kind to you, gives you good comments, wants to be around you.
