1. Do you blow your nose often? If so this is probably the cause. Each time you blow your nose you're transferring some of the gunk into your ears, making it easier for infections to occur.
2. Do you dig your ears often? Digging the ears might cause them to get infected. If you have wax to clean out, see a doctor for an ear cleaning solution, or try "candling".
3. Have you been checked for polyps? Polyps are growths within the ear that could predispose you to ear infections.
4. You should visit an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) specialist to get yourself checked out if your infections are occurring very frequently. It could mean a growth inside your ears or some other condition that you are yet unaware of.

Hi sorry to hear you keep getting ear infections it must really hurt , if you can afford it go see a naturalpath most of the times it can be food allergies mainly wheat or dairy products, if you cant afford a naturalpath go see your doctor and ask for a blood test for food allergies , also make sure you keep your ears dry use earplugs when you shower and try not to poke cotton buds in your ears as this will aggrivate the problem , i hope you are clear of this problem soon cheers

My brother is an unfortunate victim to inner ear infections. He gets at least six a year and he's usually hospitalized due to the pain.
He had tubes in his ears when he was a wee baby, and it didn't do much good. Basically our doctor told my brother he'll have to deal with them for the rest of his life.
Try showering with cotton or swimming earplugs, to help keep the water out. Do this when you swim/anything with water, too. It helped my brother a bit, might help you. The doctor can also give you ear drops to help prevent bacterial infection.

Maybe you should ask your doctor to give you a rererral to an ear specialist and ask them to investigate your ears so as to give you an answer on the subject and maybe give you some way of preventing it from happening, over and over again.

Youch! That would be agonizing. Probably just plain that's your anatomy; you're prone for whatever reason.
Don't let water or shampoo get in your ears when showering. Clean only the outside of your ear canals with a Q-tip dipped in witch haxel. Keep your ears covered when outside especially in wind or cold.

I spoke to my doctor about my daughter's ear infections and he suggested she regularly steam her nasal passages to keep them clear. The eustachion tube gets blocked.

I don't know if there are antibiotics that can help but you might check and see if they are available.
You should be able to get something that will help them. Beyond that I would suggest you see a specialist who can advise you on nonsurgical treatments that might help prevent and relieve thm.
