I'm going to need letters of reccomendation for the jobs I am applying for and I was curious if anyone had some advice on this topic especially concerning whether the letter needs to be sealed so that I can not alter or review it.

Yes, letters of recommendations need to be sealed so that first, they give your recommenders a chance for an honest feedback and second, to make sure that you don't alter them or be choosy.

You may be able to use a third-party service, such as your college's career services center to handle the letters if you are planning to use them on multiple occasions. That way your recommenders don't have to send multiple letters. But make sure to let them know that you will be using a third-party service.

Letter of recommendation does not need any seal. However, to be a valid document it must be printed on Letter Head of the office from where you want to obtain letter of recommendtion. This letter is just like another letter.

No doubt about that.. You have to seal the letter and have the person signed across it also.
