Lately, we have been hearing and experiencing the gradual effects of global warming. The earth is so fragile, and I feel there is no global effort to prevent this. If we will not act at once we will soon be gotten by the earth's fury.

Fellow members of the Yahoo Answers we have a great number and have strategic locations all over the world. We can make a difference!

yea, wel the yahoo answers community can't make much of a difference. We're wide-spread, but everybody does not share the same concern. Start from yourself with the basics- plant a tree for every year, conserve electricity, you can become an online member of wwf, sign petitions like www.petitiononline.com/forearth, and other petitions, etc... best of luck.

we need to stress the gravity of the situation to the people whom we have access to .. it's perfectly thoughtful to have a chat about it with one's friends. the other thing to do, if you can, is to do carpool with friends or neighbors as long as you ensure it is safe. i once read this article with the headline " are people like frogs?" it discussed how we are waiting for global warming's most devastating, most life-threatening effects before actually giving a care .. just like how frogs jump out of hot water instantly but if you have them stay in cold water then slowly bring it to a boil they just sit there waiting for the water to get to extreme temperature before getting out to safety. we must remember that the effects may not look immediate but if we let every day pass contributing to global warming we will find ourselves regretting it someday
