I need help finding a good movie maker, that will allow me to add pictures or clips. Something not too complicated, but not way too simple either. I'm interested what type of movie maker you like and why so I can find the right one for me. -Thanx-

I have used "Adobe Premiere" (and it's sidekick "After Effects") for quite some time and have been very satisfied.
The reason I like "Adobe Premiere" is that it is very flexible. It can be custom configured by the user. One thing in particular that is useful to me is its ability to import various file types, resolutions, etc, and manipulate them in the editor prior to rendering.
But "Premiere" does take some getting used to. It is a good programme but not a really simple one.
For something less complicated (and less costly also) you may want to consider Windows Movie Maker (which should already be installed on your system if you have Windows XP).

my favourite were adobe premier and sony vegas.
sony vegas is very much interested
