I'm going camping with my family a couple of weeks from today. We will be staying in a tent and cooking under the night starry skies..... There is no fishing allowed on the property so what else is there to do? Songs? Stories? Games? Websites I could get some ideas? Please help! Any suggestions will be greatly appreciate! Thank you!

Campfire stories are fun. Have everyone go around and add to a story but with only five words. Then make the story go round and round. Also smores are always fun. Have the kids help cook. Too bad about the fishing. Can you swim at the campground, that may be nice. Also hiking might be fun. A scavenger hunt may also be fun as well. Oh yes, and maybe a nature collage.

Well as a Leader for Girl Guides i would recommend some scout and guiding sites. They usually give you great games to play and different activities. Hope you have fun camping!!

You could try geocaching (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geocaching) or some kind of treasure hunt. Board and card games are good, especially if the weather isn't great.
