its really hard for a man that age to find someone that has grown, and mature enough to have a relationship without all the insecurities. People obviously go through things as a normal part of life. But after you go through it, then it needs to stay behind you. To many people brings those fears with them everyday. They live their life around the fears, never getting over it. Now the problem come into play when they meet someone else and try to convince others to live within their fears, instead of growing and leaving the issues behind. you can not build a house on unstable ground....the person that you chose to be with is a reflection of yourself....do not ask of a person that you are not willing to do yourself.....birds of the same feather flock together, meet some one that is equal. what ever you got on the table, they need to have something similar to put on the table.( DON'T DATE SOMEONE WITHOUT A CAR IF YOU HAD ONE SINCE YOU WERE 16 AND THEY ARE 35 NOW AND DON'T HAVE A CAR)........To be honest just use common sense

Nothing. There is not a certain time when someone, man or woman, should be married. It only means that he has not married yet. Some of the most attractive people never marry and there is nothing 'wrong' with them. It's all about destiny.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with him. He has observed the system, society, the imbalance and the wrongs. He simply is smart. Usually, that learning process is long and takes its toll of not making sense, too much effort for no return and the value of having an albatross to deal with day in and day out when life is hard enough as it is, he probably learned the lesson early or before it crept up and cost him more than its worth. Good for him.

Wilt Chamberlain, the late great NBA basketball player, searched his entire life for a nice chick to marry, unfortunately after having sex with 20,000 different ladies- the stress from all that searching was just too much and his heart at 65 just gave out

It could be a lot of things. He could perpetually act like he is 19, have a dead-end job, have no ambition, live with his mother, have anger issues, have drug/alcohol dependency, been in prison for the past 15 years, not like women, be hung like a button, have 10 children with 10 different mothers, not want to be married, or there may be nothing wrong with him at all.

If he doesn't want to get married, there's probably nothing wrong with him. If he does want to get married, and he's felt that way for a while now, there could be something wrong. I once dated a guy who's said for decades that he really wants to get married and have kids, but he's 52 now and it still hasn't happened (well, the kid part did, despite his protests and tantrums about the situation). The truth is (I believe), this guy doesn't really want to get married; he just likes to think of himself, and to present himself to women, as someone who really wants to get married. He likes to seem SINCERE (especially to himself).

he is scared of commitment or doesn't want to deal with it.
Look at George Cloony. He is one of Hollywood's major players. And he is definately over the age of 40
If your looking to become involved with this guy, it most likely won't happen. Move on and find a guy who can't stop thinking about you.
Good luck!
