I am 21 and had a crush on this guy i still like him and its been 7 months since ive liked him. I gave him a letter telling him that i thought he was a great guy and that id like to catch up with him with my number on it.

Yesterday he called me and said he was flattered and thought that it was really nice of me to write the letter but he said he is currently seeing someone.

If a gorgeous woman did this to you would you still keep her number just in case? Would you be left in your mind wondering what if?

well it depends, how beautiful is this woman? better than the woman i'm already with or not. i would have to have a better connection with this gorgeous girl than my own girlfriend. i wouldn't keep the number cause i would like the chick i'm with alot. but the thing is that girl would be in the back of my mind. if i ever did break up with my chick, i would always know that i have someone to turn to afterwards. u should just leave it alone for a while because i'm sure he's gonna remember who you are. and the letter you wrote will probably be hidden somewhere. good luck with that.

Yes definitely I will keep the number just in case.

On second thought, if I'm already with one who I feel to have the qualities of a girl of my life I will not waste a time to keep the number.

It all depends on my situation with the current gf and comparing her with the gorgeous woman. Hence, if there is chance I 'll date the gorgeous woman if she accepts my invitation knowing that I'm already seeing someone.

It depends on the seriousness of what I have now, if i were him. If he is very involved, he would be very well served to get rid of the letter and don't let anyone else ever know about it. If it is not serious, I, personally would keep the letter, and seriously consider calling you later.

I guess it all depends on how he feels about who he is seeing.

BTW, that is so hot of you to do. i would be astonished. He is a lucky guy indeed.

I am a guy and dating. If I was in the same situation then I'll keep your number just in case I get dumped. And if I get dumped maybe I'll start a new dating life with someone else like you.

l think if l were you l would keep the number and just be friends with her and see where it leads us as friends you know what l mean you might later find out that you two make a great match or that you can never click so it is worth a try as friends

I wld keep it bt be as friends not as backup cos it might be unfair to her. At least he is honest in telling u that he is seeing someone. And doesn't mean ur gorgeous he will leave her for u. Maybe he thinks that someone he is seeing is much more prettier then u? Who knows right? Anyways, cheer up, cos u might have someone who is interested in u right now.

Yeah for sure, you never really know with girls these days.
They are so bloody unreliable that its a good idea to have a few on the boil just in case.

Really? I'd keep it in case the current relationship didn't work out.

depends on if he is in any sort of committed relationship. if he is, any decent guy would throw your letter in the trash or pass it on to a buddy. if he's a cheater, or not so great boy friend, maybe he kept it.

i really think i would focus on the curent relationship. if it does not work out and you guys meet up again later on then so be it, but until then it is not worth ruining a good thing with what ifs.
