19 and too young to be serious, or so i am told.. but this man, this guy has been my life for almost 8 months... but i dont always know what to do about the way he treats me... i get very little respect sometimes.. he actually uses the same expressions and tones he uses with his five year old daughter..what do i do? i didnt grow up and move out of my mother's only to be treated like a 5 yr old in a different house..at least my mother had a good excuse-no mother wants their child to grow up-ever... so what the heck do i do? i am not going to give up on him...

You must make a stand here. Love is a 2 way street. You must sit him down and calmly and politely demand respect from him. Tell him if he loves u then he will treat you as an equal in this relationship. In a true loving relationship both people are supposed to be there for eAch other, communicate with each other, make each other feel good and bring each other up in confidence and self worth.
That is what it means when 2 people become one.
Would he treat himself teh way he is treating you?

Maybe you should rather give up on him and consider the fact that you need more like a father figure and it sounds like he is treating you more like a daughter than a young lady he loves and wants to be married to and sometimes it is flattering for older men if a young girl gives them attention

tell him what you just told everyone here. you are a grown adult and expect to be treated as one. trust me, if you are important to him he will change. women have the wild card, just cut him off.
