I had posted a question few days back on 'how to approach an insanely attractive girl who stays close to my house but is a complete stranger to me' I had got a few good suggestions. Anyway, I went up and talked to her today morning. Here's what happened: I had got up early, shaved, groomed well & dressed up in my best (white) shirt. I also took with me my notebook - just for a prop. I waited at the road she takes for work & as she came I slowly walked up to her and said "You work for __, right?" (I had prior knowledge of where she works) She smiled and said "ya" (she looked so pretty!) I said: "well i was at your company last week, and i saw u there" (a lie). Then I asked her a few questions and she asked me my name. I said "u must be on ur way to work, how can i talk to u again"? I asked for her no. and she gave it. When she left, I msged her saying it was good talking to her that this was my no. (is this being 2 desperate?) She didn't reply to that sms. What should be my next steps??

Okay, I found out why she did not reply back. I was able to find her Orkut profile, now that I know her name (and i already knew the company she works for). Turns out that she is going to get engaged in May and get married in June!! Why are all the really pretty girls already getting married ha?? ... now what do i do?

u dufus spoiled everything with your desperate attempt. u shouldn't have texted her right away. u should have waited for a few days to call and make an appointment for appropriate date. if it were me and a guy sent me text immediately after talkign to me he would be a goner right away. do not text her or call her any more for a few days. i don't know whether u can fix this first impression ever

aaaawwww, thats so sweet! i dont think you were being too desperate at all. you might would have waited before giving the number though. its still okay that you did. you were just excited to have finally talked to this lady. well she gave you the number so she obviously doesnt mind hearing what you have to say. so give her a call and just say hello. it wouldnt hurt to tell her the real reason you approached her that way everything is out on the table so that you can further communicate or just persue a frienshipship. i think then she may use your number if she's interested. good luck!
