When puppies first move to their new homes, they can be a bit upset by change and go off their feed. Be sure to get his vaccinations and make sure the vet checks him out completely so that any kind of medical problem is ruled out. Other than that, try warming his food up for him in the microwave for a minute, and then test it on the sensitive skin on the inside of your wrist to make sure its not too hot (just like you would do for a baby). Good luck and try not to worry too much.

Your puppy is getting finicky most likely. Eukanuba is a great food. Switch him over to the dry kibble. You can get different sized kibbles depending on your dog's breed. But puppies often go through stages where they will get fussy about food. But after about 6 weeks all puppies should be making the transition from wet food to dry kibble. It will help his teeth stay cleaner as well.
If he refuses to eat after that, then you can add some Iams Savory sauce or chicken broth mixed in with the dry, just enough to add flavor. If after that he still won't eat, take him to the vet for a full check up.
The main thing you need to watch are his water intake and urinating/stools. If your pup won't drink then take him to the vet now, if there is blood in the urine or stools, get him to the vet asap as well. Those are bigger signs of a more serious problem.
Good luck!

It's possible that he just doesn't like it. You can do a few things here, you can mix the biscuits he likes into the wet food and he might like it more. Try cutting back on the wet food and use more biscuits at feeding time. As dogs grow older, i've found they grow out of canned/packaged wet food. When they start getting a bit older, i tend to phase the wet food out and start introducing dry biscuits and bones from the butchers. Biscuits and bones help with teeth hygiene and will also prevent the smelly breath that some packaged wet food causes. It's possible that your puppy's tastes are changing as it grows and just doesn't like the other mix anymore.
Your other option is to just keep feeding him the food and wait him out, when he's hungry enough he'll eat.
Good luck.

You did hear about the pet food recall right? It sounds like your puppy knows whats best for him. Since the wet food was laced with rat poison, you probably should stick to dry food...

I don't like eukanuba. My dogs are feed science diet. They eat it dry no problem. Some dogs like beef, some chicken, some lamb, so be sure to switch it up.

Try it. I wouldn't eat it either. He doesn't need it. If he eats his regular food he'll be fine. It sounds like he's a little spoiled. Put him on one thing and don't give him anything else except training treats. Your dog has learned to eat strange things and is refusing normal food now... that's not a good thing. Put out normal food and when he gets hungry enough, he'll eat it. Don't use the canned food for a while. I wouldn't use it at all actually.

There are many other brands of food that are better than Eukanuba! If you continue to feed wet food or kibble please search this website for high quality foods.

I always recommend a raw diet.
Good-luck

Hey,
not every pet shops tell you the truth, mainly they just want you to buy the product so go to the supermarket and pick one of each brand and see which one your puppy will like/love!
I did this to my 2 week old pup and now i know what to and not to get so try it because it really helps.
