Matthew 1:18-20 (Contemporary English Version)
"
18This is how Jesus Christ was born. A young woman named Mary was engaged to Joseph from King David's family. But before they were married, she learned that she was going to have a baby by God's Holy Spirit. 19Joseph was a good man [a] and did not want to embarrass Mary in front of everyone. So he decided to quietly call off the wedding. 20While Joseph was thinking about this, an angel from the Lord came to him in a dream. The angel said, "Joseph, the baby that Mary will have is from the Holy Spirit. Go ahead and marry her."
Basically both Mary and her soon to be husband both were told by god, or an angel, before she was impregnated. She did not object, so God had Mary's permission.

He may of had her permission, but he did sin.
There is some debate as to whether Mary was married at the time or not.
Is she wasn't, she commited a sin by having pre-marital sex. God can be held responsible as he asked her to do this.
If Mary was married, she commited adultery - a sin. Again God asked her to do this, so he must hold responsibility.
Mary should have seen this as a test of her faith in God and said no, as she was breaking the rules he set forth.
I can see the thumbs down votes coming in now....

Rape is defined as the unlawful compelling of a woman through physical force or duress to have sexual intercourse.
Unless you're reading a different version of the bible God didn't have intercourse with Mary.

Yes, he did. Funny you should mention that as yesterday was "Anunciation Sunday" when the Angel Gabriel came to Mary and told her what the Lord God's intentions were for her life:
In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. 28The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."
29Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. 31You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. 32He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."
34"How will this be," Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?"
35The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[c] the Son of God. 36Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. 37For nothing is impossible with God."
38"I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May it be to me as you have said." Then the angel left her.

Did God ask your permission to keep your heart beating? Your eyes seeing?, Your limbs moving? I didn't think so, yet he sent angel to Mary and he told the of Lord's plan and she accepted. The next time you think God has to check with you before he does something for you or allows something to happen to you, remember your heartbeat. Jesus loves you!!!

Mary gave her permission, go read the Gospels again. And try for something more original next time.
Here's a butterscotch bar, now go take a nap.

First of all, Mary gave God permission. An angel came to her and told her about it. And second of all, God didn't sleep with Mary. He put the spirit of a child inside her, without sexuality.
