if youve been best friends with her for abour 3 years that defiantely gives you an advantage over the other guys..
coz ur her BEST friend (i stress firmly on the word best) that means that you could either start a new relationship with her or else you could risk losing whatevr you have had with her...
you cant just know whats going on with her..and plz dont rush into things with a simple "i think"...
look for signs of her from her side.be neutral for sumtime...and if ur feelings do really intensify then obviously tell her...coz its really not fair fo you to hide your feelings..
if shes ur friend she will reply..and not keep you in the lurch..
chnces are she reciprocrates ur feelings...
Best of luck for that..falling in love is ALL worth it.....especially when its someone ur comfy wid...

Doesn't her "NOT HAVING ANY OTHER BOYFRIENDS" enough proof that she likes you? But still, why don't you let time and love take its course. You're not losing her to anyone - well at least, not yet. Enjoy the friendship and slowly and naturally make her feel extra special from time to time. That would give her something to think about. That way too, you won't pressure yourself into getting her into a deeper relationship. The best foundation for true love is knowing the other person and accepting her and loving her for what and who she is. I wish you all the fun, the thrill and the happiness of togetherness with your special someone. Goodluck!

I know you want a girl's perspective bro, but I just talked to a couple of my female friends and they told me they are extremely careful about who they date. Their current boyfriends were good friends for one or two years before they felt secure enough to date them.
What I've noticed with good friends is that if you hit on them and they pull away, they don't generally ignore you like someone you've just met would. If they're not interested, they'll still just be your friend like nothing ever happened. I know this because this just happened to me like 2 weeks ago with a good friend. I tried to hold her hand in the movie theater and was denied, but we still are great friends and still talk a lot.

She likes you. The best lovers are your best lady friends who know you best above all other people. Otherwise she wouldn't be making an effort to get to know you. Get close to her, but don't push yourself on her. Let her know that you're affectionate towards her and let her decide how to react towards you.
