how did that happen, and why don't jewish people (since sumerian tablets stories are similar to the old testament ones) and christians use them to teach-or do they accept that as fact? The history channel also did a special on this and one story mentioned Adam having a previous wife (Lillith) before Eve who had to be replaced by God because she was disagreeable towards him. Are these stories looked at as being false? If they were written before the bible's version, then why so? Why are they ignored?

Because the Sumerian test brings creations and evolution down to their very knees. The beliefs system of the religions and scientific communities are being shaken to their very core. It is also said to be older than than Torah.
Do your own research and decide for yourself.
It is hard for the authorities to give up the supreme status. The Sumerian text throws everything in to question. Everybody is trying to hold on the the status quo.
The religious are just hoping the Sumerian text will just go away but to many people are reading Sitchin'ss books for this to be ignored.

The one point that is so often over looked is the Jewish Torah. I believe that you'll find the Jewish texts to be older than the Sumerian ones. While these other texts are indeed older than the "Bible", those who say that neglect to include the Torah in their estimates. Sounds to me like the humanists do not want to tell the whole truth.

the story in the sumerian tablets is the original story .
Torah is made of many stories from many other nations belifes and laws .
like sumerians and Egyptians and many others
all holy books played the the same game ! .. torah , gospels , and quraan
