And is it best to put in freezer, fridge, or outside. What do you normally do to preserve bread? Thanks.

What if I leave it out for a week then put in freezer, is it bad? And how long do I keep in freezer before it goes bad?

I wouldnt keep it out longer than a couple of days before you froze it. Any longer it would only be good for toast. should be good frozen for about 3 months.

Freeze it. That's what I do. Bread defrosts in about 1 minute. You can leave the loaf in the freezer & don't need to be concerned about it going bad outside the freezer at all! Just take out how many pieces that you want at any given time. Within seconds it is defrosted. You can also toast or defrost it in the toaster. The fridge does not extend the life of the bread- it just dries it out.

Don't leave it out at all. When you bring bread home from the store put it right in the freezer. That will assure its freshness when you want to eat it and you won't have to worry about it going to waste. Bread starts the process of getting stale the day after it's baked (i.e. sales on day old bread). Freezing stops that process, so it will remain as fresh as the day you bought it.
