To early to have a valid opinion.
Once the drivers get to know the car and its capabilities on all tracks, it will probably be fine.
For the drivers who don't like it because, "its hard to drive", get over it. You were hired to drive a car, not necessarily the car you want to drive. If its hard to drive, then maybe you are not the driver you believe you are. From the driving characteristics I have heard described, the old school racers would be right at home in it.
Not to fond of the look, but then again in the 70's they raced some really ugly cars.

Pretty bad first outing. Bristol was NOT to the place to debut this car and Martinsville won't get any better. Bristol ended up being very boring and not a lot of beating and banging like years past which makes the venue popular. it seemed like the drivers did not like how the car drove and it was very difficult to pass other cars. But the gotta work out the kinks.

I agree with the concept of making all the cars more equal for the teams that don't have as much money as others. I'm sure it will just take a little while for the drivers to get use to it and to get all the kinks worked out. As far as the race itself I thought it was kinda boring for a Bristol race.

I HATE IT!! That wing on the back is the most rediculous thing I have ever seen on a "stock car". Then you have that lip on the front that also looks nothing like a stock car. If you ask me, the COT is just another change that is leading NASCAR away from the good racing of the past. As a long time fan I hate to see it.

I personally liked the look of the car, but when Dale Jarrett got spun out by Matt Kenseth the thing fell apart like nothing. I like it's going to be more of a risk for the driver's getting hurt than anything else. I was at Bristol and I think several of the driver's are just complaining about it right now because they fear change, but once they get the feel of it they'll be okay.

I liked the quote by DW as its just a car until the race is over then it becomes a stock car and I dont really like it as it looks like something you would find in F1 or something but I think it will take time to do it. Nextel I don't believe is causing the problems and I think Winston was good but I just think they are doing what they think is best and I think they will jsut make improvements to the older car and just race it or modify the COT even more as its a work in progress everything is and I like the Chase just not the current one but the old one had some problems too I think it will just take time to get used to..

Why doesn't NASCAR just build the cars then let the drivers pick a car by a hat. I was at the race in turn 2 and it was a boring race.

i don't see why we would desire to continuously see an ignition of an old feud. issues warmth up too rapid at Bristol and the feuding will ensue at any specific 2nd, not purely because of the fact of a prior conflict of words. The drivers do not probably %. who they want to feud with in a race. this is purely whoever they'd desire to race confusing against on the time. it would desire to be everyone. There would desire to be some new feuds forming at Bristol, and we are able to easily would desire to observe the race and locate out why.

It was okay. I think its a bit to early to tell if this car is really going to help the racing or not. It seemed rather fragile to me.
I think it was the 41 that spun early and had to go behind the
wall to repair the car for a spin that really didn't seem that
serious.
